July 2nd VS. Westover...Meet #3!

July 2nd B'way vs. Westover- Hunter is really enjoying these meets with his buddy from Preschool Jackson. We bring legos and the 2 of them are in heaven for about 2 hours playing. This helps to pass the time so I can really support and watch Ethan and Alexis. Hunter at this meet asked me when he was going to be a 'baby shark'? I smiled and said probably next year we'll try! Sweet boy! We are working with him at the pool and he's learning how to swim freestyle already! He holds his breath and loves to wear his goggles underwater to see!!!! Go Hunter! We love you buddy!!!!

Ethan was in a Relay....took 2nd of 6! Way to go Ethan- he swam Freestyle......25 meter.....

This is Ethan and Nina.....they have been friends ever since Preschool at Morning With My Friends...Nina and Ethan were in the same class this past year too! Aren't they cute?

June 25th....Meet 2.....

B'way vs. Ashby.....
This was an away meet at Ashby Anacondas in Bridgewater.....
The kids did wonderful. Ethan also had scout camp from 8:30a-4p the entire week....and still made pm practices AND the meet went late- we got home at 10p!

Hunter found a few preschool friends at the meet....and played with legos under the slide! It was quite hot this day.....

Meet 1- B'way VS. Spotswood....

So the kids decided they wanted to do swim team this summer again, which I was very happy about. It's such great exercise, not to mention Ethan and Alexis know almost all the kids in there age group from school, preschool, scouts, church AND tumbling. AND I get to visit with all the moms and dads I wouldn't get to see otherwise! Ethan and Alexis wanted to focus on their freestyle and backstroke this year....so 2 hours per day (AM and PM practice)...most days M-F we did. Of course we missed some practices and some were cancelled, but otherwise, they were their and having a great time doing it! YAY SWIM TEAM!!!
Their first meet was against Spotswood Dolphins on June 18th....all the meets were on Tuesdays, perfect b/c it freed up the weekends- No practice Sat/Sun! ;)

Alexis and I......I was asked to be a timer for the first half of this meet....so Hunter hung out with Sunny and her kids......while I was busy timing the kids for the first 32 events.....there were 60 at this meet.....!

Father's Day hike!

For Father's Day, Chris wanted to go on a hike together! I've been chatting with my friend at work about Fridley's Gap....it's beautiful and her boys love it- She said they always see a snake and hop over rocks, get wet...lot's of fun 'boy' things. So, we decided to take Lucky and a few good walking sticks and try it out! What a beautiful day! We packed a lunch and set off. The trail is about 15 minutes from our house...perfect! We walked about 2 miles. I'm really glad I had that walking stick, ha ha! We went up hill most of the first 1/2 mile stepping on rocks to avoid getting your feet wet from the stream! We saw a cool black snake! The kids loved that! Ethan swam in a water hole! The water was ice cold- crazy boy! We had a blast! Here are a few pics of our hike! Happy Father's Day to the bestest husband and father a kid could have! I love you Chris! We all love you!!!!

I was 31 weeks 4 days at this picture! I'm very glad we could spend the day together!

So beautiful- our area is just gorgeous....there's nothing more to say!

Brrrrr..... Alexis wanted to get in but she didn't wear her swim suit and so just feet/legs for her!

Day 1...Massanutten Water Park.....

The kids were mostly awake by 6:30.....this was a bit early but they were so excited to hang out and play together! We had breakfast in AM....played games, read some Harry Potter.....took naps by early afternoon to get ready for the waterpark......

Even the dog was tired! HA!

HE was one excited boy....asking me all day, 'how much longer Aunt Chandra? 'Sweet,sweet Boy!!!!

Here we are!!!! Me at 31 weeks pregnant with baby boy #4....and Funk kids....this is about 4:30pm! The kids were beyond excited about the water park! Chris and I were too, really! So much to do.....slides, huge wave pool, indoor and outdoor parks..... Here we go! The older kids paired up....And Chris and I each took a little one.....they were completely thrilled!!!! Here are just a few pics....I didn't take too many pics....too busy playing! YAY!

All of us ready to leave.....a little bit after 10 PM!!!!! Little Dave was asleep before we ever left the parking lot! The kids had a blast.....and Chris and I did too! Thank you free library day..... you saved us almost $300.00!!!!! YAY!
