April fun field trips for Hunter.....

April was sure fun and quite busy for Hunter....all that learning is hard work at preschool! It's so much fun to watch Hunter interact and be the boy he is while with his friends!!!
Morning With My Friends holds an annual Trike-A-Thon to raise money for St. Judes Hospital!  It's so touching the stories of the families that are helped by this AMAZING hospital and I am very glad that the kids can know that they are doing something for the benefit of others!!
Here are a few pics of the fun event.....

The very next week, Hunter traveled to Back Home on the Farm to see what a farm is like during springtime!  What a fun place! I think everyone had a fantastic time! We got to ride the tractor, plant 6 different vegetables, pet the horse, donkey, goats, cows, ride the carousel, go down the underground 60ft. slide AND of course play!!! Here are a few pics of this event....

Ethan's 9th B-day party....

I just can't believe that Ethan is 9!  Where has the time gone?!?!  He's 5 ft. tall...wears a size 7 1/2 shoe....I just hope he don't pass me up too soon! We were very excited to have Christina and her kids come to celebrate with us! We love having them come....It is so fun and the kids play really well! I love spending time together!  Ethan invited several friends and we had a small gathering at a local indoor swimming pool!  The kids had a blast and us parents enjoyed watching them be silly and enjoy themselves! Happy Birthday Ethan.  We love you and are very proud of the young man you are becoming! Keep working hard!!!

April showers bring May flowers.....

April is here! Well- it is just me or has the year gone by too fast already! Well- Charles Dixon was born and within a few weeks, everyone came over for dinner and movie! What a fun time! Ethan and Lee with Charlie....so cute!

Happy times watching a movie together!

Storybook trail....on a nice Sunday afternoon! Perfect for some photo opportunities of some great looking bunch of kids!

April 25th- Ethan turned 9!!!  Happy Birthday!
He wanted Italian chicken, whipped potatoes, mixed vegetables and fruit salad!  What a scrumptious dinner! I especially liked Dad's idea about putting a single candle in Ethan's chicken breast to blow out! Fun times!!!!
After school on the 25th, the older kids had their piano recital!  Both did such a wonderful job.  Their songs were memorized and I loved how they took a bow at the end.  Way to go Ethan and Alexis!
After the recital, their teacher, Mrs. Swagerty (who is completely wonderful) had a dessert social. It was lovely.  There were too many desserts to count and all were delicious!  Thank you Mrs. Swagerty for your hard work and patience in teaching my kids piano!!!
